3d printing comes to Toolcraft

We've just invested in a shiny new 3d printer, the 3D Touch. I'll send you a more in-depth e-mail about our new gadget just as soon as the techies are up to speed with it. We'll be using it mainly for modelling, so watch this space for a special modelling offer as well.

ISO 9001:2008 certified for 2011/12

Mr. ISO came to do his yearly inspection at Toolcraft last week. As usual, we've maintained our excellent standards of quality & service and we've gained ISO 9001:2008 approval for another year.

Large injection mould tool order

We've just received a lovely large order from a new customer for 12 new injection moulding tools. The tools will be manufactured in China, but will be designed, imported, serviced, tested and guaranteed by Toolcraft, giving our customer the benefit of our injection mould toolmaking expertise at a much reduced tooling price.

Solidworks 2012

We've upgraded our version of Solidworks. We'll be on the 2012 version very soon, so we'll be able to take on the latest files smoothly. If you're not on Solidworks, don't worry, we're still able to take the following files: DWG, DXF, IGES, JPEG, MS Office, Parasolid, PDF, Pro-Engineer & STEP.
