Custom Made vacuum formed trays & parts
As well as standard & adaptable trays, we also make vacuum formed reusable packaging trays & other items custom made to your design in both antistatic & non conductive materials.

This involves heating & forming plastic sheets upto 6mm thick over an inexpensive wooden / aluminium tool & is suitable for uniform section, low quantity parts (10-5000). If you have an existing part, a resin cast tool could be made from it, saving you further time & money.

Above: Several types of vacuum forming tool & a roller cutter. The latter is used instead of a guillotine to cut formed parts from the plastic sheets for higher quantities or cosmetic jobs.

Features & options for custom made vacuum formed trays - stacking, access holes...
An area of vacuum forming often overlooked, is the ability for parts to have built in features such as finger access holes or the option for parts to stack on top or nest inside each other. See below for examples of these & the colours/flocking that trays can be made in (guide only)
