We needed to move an existing moulding tool to Toolcraft as the service from our previous provider was inadequate. Toolcraft reconfigured the tool to fit a modern hot-runner system and produces good quality mouldings from it. For a vial insert which was running from an old mould tool, Toolcraft created a new tool from the original 2D drawings and a CAD model, at the same time re-modelling the CAD to make a part with better shut-offs. Toolcraft then supplied us with the CAD so we could update our drawings. As an additional service, Toolcraft recorded & supplied us with SPC data for both moulding jobs. We're now getting an excellent service and product.

We worked extensively with James Caldwell, Toolcraft's Designer and Projects Manager on the waterproof case and docking station for our revolutionary new paging system. Throughout the design, modelling, mould tool manufacturing and plastic injection moulding process, Toolcraft provided excellent service. The injection mould tools were made by Toolcraft's Chinese partner, but were project managed, guaranteed and imported into the UK by Toolcraft. Toolcraft make the injection moulded plastic cases and rubber sleeves for our diagnostic tools, as well as some of our other products. In most instances they make the injection moulding tools as well as the plastic mouldings, but we've also moved some of our other tools to Toolcraft to produce the mouldings, which has worked out very well. We came to Toolcraft with a very urgent requirement for an injection moulded endcap. Toolcraft quickly supplied an economical quote for one of their insert-only injection mould tools, with a lead time of 5 weeks to get the samples. We placed the order just as they were about to have their annual shutdown for a week, but despite this, we had moulding samples within 3 weeks and the full batch of quality injection moulded parts within 4. What a great service.
